Terms of Service
Last updated: 16 July 2026
These Terms govern the ReInvent U website, assessments, family experiences, coaching, capability records, and related services (the “Service”). By buying an experience, creating an account, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. A parent or guardian who creates a family account agrees for the household members they invite and remains responsible for supervising their use.
1. Who operates ReInvent U
ReInvent U is a product operated by Mango Dog Pty Ltd, ABN 33 628 425 481 and ACN 628 425 481, an Australian company based in New South Wales (“we”, “us”, or “our”). Contact us at george@reinventu.work or through our contact form.
2. Eligibility, family accounts, and supervision
- The account holder and buyer must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a contract.
- The family experience is for young people aged 13 and over using the Service through a parent- or guardian-managed household account.
- Before submitting a family assessment or starting a First Ship Weekend or Season checkout, a parent or legal guardian must separately confirm that every learner included is age 13 or older. This eligibility attestation is distinct from accepting these Terms. We record its version and a server timestamp without asking for a date of birth.
- The parent decides which child is invited, provisions each seat, and supervises use of external AI tools. A child must not create an account with a third-party provider where that provider's age rules do not permit it.
- Optional voice coaching requires a separate parent or legal-guardian choice. The learner controls each recording by pressing Record; text coaching remains available without voice.
- Optional browser notifications require a separate browser permission after a parent taps Enable. Alerts are generic, observe the family's saved quiet hours, and can be turned off without affecting Parent Brief email.
- Each person must use their own login. You must keep credentials and private access links secure and tell us promptly if you believe they have been exposed.
- You must provide accurate information and may not impersonate another person or attach someone else's work to your record.
3. What the Service does
ReInvent U is practical educational coaching. Learners direct AI at a real project, check the output, improve it, and record evidence of the work. Depending on the offer, the Service may include an assessment, guided missions, an AI coach, build reviews, progress tracking, parent Briefs, an evidence ledger, archival snapshots, and revocable verification links.
ReInvent U does not guarantee admission, grades, employment, promotion, income, business performance, or any other external result. It is not legal, financial, medical, mental-health, tax, investment, or career-placement advice. Published statistics and third-party examples provide context; they are not promises about you or your child.
4. AI output and learner responsibility
- AI can be inaccurate, incomplete, biased, or unsafe. The learner remains responsible for checking output before using or publishing it.
- The coach is a learning tool, not a friend, therapist, emergency service, or substitute for a parent, teacher, qualified professional, or human support.
- Do not submit confidential, regulated, health, financial, school-system, employer, or third-party personal information unless you are authorised to do so and it is genuinely needed.
- The Service may decline requests that appear to ask it to complete assessed schoolwork, deceive another person, evade disclosure, or produce harmful or unlawful material.
- Learners must follow the rules of their school, employer, platform, and external AI provider, including any disclosure requirements.
5. Offers, prices, and payment
- Free assessment and report. The family assessment and resulting profile report are free. Optional marketing follow-up requires a separate choice.
- Story + Playbook + First Ship Weekend package. The advertised launch offer is a one-time USD $19 purchase per learner. It includes Reinventing You in the AI Revolution, Emily's Kitchen-Table AI Playbook, both clearly labelled AI-narrated audiobooks, and First Ship Weekend access. An optional additional project track may be offered for USD $9. The exact items and total are shown before payment.
- Eight-week Season membership. The paid trial is USD $5 for seven days. It then converts automatically to the exact household Season total shown before payment and renews every eight weeks. The standard first-learner rate is USD $299. An eligible, live founding-intro window may show a USD $199 first-learner rate; that rate renews while the same subscription remains continuous, and rejoining after cancellation uses the then-current rate. Concurrent sibling pricing and the household cap are itemised at checkout. You can cancel at any time.
- Currency and tax. Family launch prices are shown and charged in USD. Applicable tax may be added or included as the checkout states.
- Processor. Stripe processes payments. We do not receive or store your full card number.
5A. Gift-a-Weekend eligibility, claims, and refunds
Gift-a-Weekend is a one-time USD $19 gift of the complete Story + Playbook + both AI-narrated audiobooks + First Ship Weekend package for one eligible learner in a genuinely different household. It has no subscription or automatic renewal. The following terms apply in addition to the other package terms.
- Who may buy and claim. The purchaser must use a verified adult owner account. The recipient must claim through their own verified adult owner account, complete the family assessment, select one learner, and provide the current parent- or legal-guardian confirmation that the learner is age 13 or older. The same purchaser account or email cannot redeem its own gift.
- Different-household and abuse rule. The gift is for a genuinely different household, not for moving value within the purchaser's household. You must not use alternate accounts or email addresses, coordinate a sham redemption, or otherwise bypass the self-referral control. We may place a gift under review or revoke an improperly obtained claim where the payment record or account evidence supports abuse.
- Private claim link, transfer, and lost links. After signed payment confirmation, the purchaser receives a private bearer claim link. We do not ask for or designate a recipient before redemption, so the purchaser may personally share or transfer the current link to another eligible household before it is redeemed. Each link is active for 90 days, and exchanging it opens a 30-minute secure claim session. The paid gift itself does not expire solely because a share link expires. The purchaser can sign in to Your gift links and issue a fresh link; doing so immediately invalidates the previous link. A redeemed gift cannot be transferred or claimed again.
- Gift refund and payment reversal. The purchaser may request a full refund within 60 days of purchase under the First Ship Weekend promise and applicable consumer law. The recipient paid USD $0 and cannot request a cash refund as the cardholder. A successful refund before redemption disables the claim link. After redemption, the learner's already-created Weekend access is not automatically clawed back; instead, the redeemed gift and payment enter the implemented review process.
6. Refunds, cancellation, and consumer rights
- Weekend promise. You may request a full refund of the First Ship Weekend within 60 days of purchase, no questions asked. The verified purchaser can request an eligible refund from the private Weekend access page. If that page is unavailable, choose Billing on the contact form and include the purchase email, offer name, and purchase date; never send a full card number.
- Season guarantee. If the authenticated account owner submits a guarantee request within 60 days of Stripe settling the USD $5 paid trial, we return the USD $5 trial charge and the first full eight-week Season charge if it was collected by the request time. The Billing page provides the quiet authenticated request path. This voluntary guarantee does not limit consumer-law remedies.
- Cancellation is separate. You may cancel future renewal at any time. Cancellation normally takes effect at the end of the paid billing period, unless the checkout or applicable law provides otherwise. A guarantee request does not cancel the subscription. Cancel separately in the secure billing portal or explicitly ask Billing to cancel.
- Payment and access authority. The guarantee request time is recorded before provider processing. Refunds are bound to the exact Stripe Invoice, PaymentIntent, and Charge. Stripe-confirmed refund and subscription state remain authoritative; access is not revoked merely because a request was submitted.
- Refund promises apply to ReInvent U charges, not fees charged directly by third-party tools.
These voluntary promises add to your rights. Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any consumer guarantee, remedy, or other right that cannot lawfully be excluded, including rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
7. Seats, access, pauses, and delivery
- A purchased family seat is not assigned to a child until the parent provisions it. The household Season guarantee above applies to the subscription charges.
- Season access begins immediately as described at purchase; a pricing window does not make a family wait for a cohort.
- A Season includes one self-serve learning pause of up to 14 days where the product offers that control. Pausing learning does not pause billing, extend the paid period, or move Stripe's renewal date. When a new paid cycle starts, earlier work remains readable but only the current cycle can send Parent Briefs and reminders.
- If renewal is canceled for the end of the paid period, new learning writes remain available through that period end and stop afterward. Existing evidence, history, exports, and verification records remain readable.
- If payment succeeds but access does not arrive, contact support. We may use the payment record and account identity to restore access after verification.
8. Evidence, verification, and public sharing
- Submitted, automatically checked, human-reviewed, live, archived, and revoked are different evidence states. A page is only described as verified to the level its displayed state supports.
- You control whether a learner's work is publicly shared. Public links can be revoked. Use a child's first name only and obtain their agreement before sharing.
- You must not fabricate evidence, misstate who did the work, remove required AI-use disclosure, or manipulate usage or review signals.
- We may correct, relabel, hide, or revoke a record where evidence is missing, misleading, unsafe, infringing, or fraudulent.
- A learner's evidence record is designed to remain available in read-only form after a paid experience ends, subject to safety, legal obligations, and a valid deletion request.
9. Your content
You keep ownership of content you submit. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to host, copy, process, transform, and display it only as reasonably needed to operate, secure, review, archive, and—where you choose— share the Service. You confirm you have the rights and permissions needed to submit it. Revoking a public link stops public display but does not require us to erase records we must retain for payment, safety, fraud, or legal reasons.
10. Our content and permitted use
We and our licensors own the Service, brand, software, mission structures, guides, skill graph, and other materials we provide. We give you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use those materials for the purchased experience. You may not resell, publish, scrape, systematically copy, reverse engineer, or use them to build a competing service except where law expressly permits it.
11. Acceptable use
You must not:
- break the law, infringe another person's rights, or submit material you are not authorised to use;
- harass, exploit, groom, threaten, deceive, or endanger a child or any other person;
- upload malware, evade content or schoolwork safeguards, probe another family's data, or gain unauthorised access;
- overload, automate abuse against, interfere with, or bypass rate limits or security controls; or
- use the Service or its verification surfaces to make false claims about identity, authorship, review, capability, or outcomes.
12. Third-party services
Some missions use external services such as AI providers, deployment platforms, email, authentication, or payment tools. Their terms, privacy practices, age limits, availability, and charges are separate from ours. We identify required tools before a mission where practical and provide alternatives where the product describes them. ReInvent U is independent and is not endorsed by those providers.
13. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information, including family data, coaching content, marketing choices, service providers, access, correction, deletion, and complaints.
14. Availability and changes
We work to keep the Service available and preserve evidence records, but internet and third-party services can fail. We may change tools, content, or features to improve safety, reliability, or learning quality. We will not silently replace a paid experience with something materially different; where a material change disadvantages you, we will provide an appropriate remedy consistent with applicable law.
15. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may restrict or end access where reasonably necessary to address a serious breach, protect a person, prevent fraud or abuse, comply with law, or secure the Service. Where practical, we will explain the reason and provide a way to contact a human. Payment, ownership, evidence integrity, privacy, liability, and other provisions that must logically survive continue after termination.
16. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, neither party is liable to the other for indirect or consequential loss that was not reasonably foreseeable. Where our liability may lawfully be limited, our aggregate liability for a claim relating to a paid Service is limited to the amount you paid for that Service in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. This section does not limit liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including applicable consumer guarantees, fraud, or wilful misconduct.
17. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. We will post the new date and take reasonable steps to notify account holders before a material change takes effect. A change does not retrospectively remove rights already earned under a purchase.
18. Governing law and contact
These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Courts with jurisdiction there have non-exclusive jurisdiction, while any mandatory rights in your location remain available. Questions, refund requests, or complaints can be sent to george@reinventu.work or our contact form. Choose Billing for a payment or refund request and Privacy for a privacy request or complaint.
